Welcome to my page, I am so glad you found me. Grab a cup of tea and a cozy blanket and let me introduce myself.

I have been married to my husband/best friend for over 16 years, we have two girls, a dog, and a cat. We live in the northern Midwest and love to enjoy all the seasons. I always find a say to make all season feel cozy.

When I am not running around and taking my kids all over town, you can find me reading a book, drinking coffee/tea, scrolling through Pinterest and Instagram, watching Hallmark, looking for my next candle, and trying out new meal ideas for my family. In college I studied health and human performance and would teach all different types of fitness and wellness classes. When I moved into a leadership role, I moved away from the fitness/wellness field but my goal and dream was to get back into the wellness field. This is how peaceful and cozy mama got started.

When I was studying health and human performance, I was young and I did not full understand or see all that could be done. I did have a dream to open a women’s retreat in the mountains or on a farm. It was going to be a place where group of women could come and take yoga classes, learn how to make healthy yummy foods, a place where they could read a book, take other fitness classes, learn how to strength train, be outside and connect with nature, and also just take time to be with other women and share life. Before the phrase “your tribe”, that is what I was wanting to help build for people.

It has taken me over 14 years to start my blog, yes 14 years. I have wanted to do this for awhile now, here I am. Hang tight and I would love for you to be apart of my journey and I hope to help inspire you on your own personal wellness, peace, and cozy journey.
